Certified Independent Academic Language Therapy Training Center

Welcome & Personal Note
When my son began third grade I suspected he had dyslexia only to discover that it didn't matter because at that time dyslexia was not recognized by the state of New Mexico (this changed in 2010).
From that point on I prayed I would be able to keep him in school long enough to graduate from high school.
Seeing and dealing with the impact of dyslexia in a personal and educational setting on a daily basis made me eager to learn and do more. When the opportunity was presented to me to be trained as an Academic Language Therapist, I was able to make my decision easily. And so, my journey began. One I have never regretted taking. It has sparked a passion that continues to grow as I tutored children, informed parents and witnessed the transformation of children with dyslexia gain confidence in the their ability to read, write and spell successfully.
Remember the son who inspired my journey? He graduated from high school a semester early, served in the military, started his own successful business and works as a supervisor in a high profile business. He is highly accomplished and provides for a beautiful family.
